The 1 big file will be written faster to the SD card.

However, this is in theory, I have not made comparisons to see if there is a noticeable difference. I know for sure that when transferring the card contents to a PC rawburst file copy faster than the equivalent H+ shots.

Another could be file size, expecting the rawburst to be smaller than the same number of shots in H+, but again I’ve not made any comparison on this.

That is true in computer world too. Write a million 1k files or 1 Meg file and the difference is huge. At least until the buffer on the storage device fills up then it all screams to dead slow.

RAW burst has its place, but certainly not for general shooting.
