I could not have been more disappointed.

I had a Canon eos-m. Original model.

I was very careful with the camera. Not a drop of water. Not a blow, even light one.

In fact camera had just a few months of use, believe it or not.

I was messing with the settings when I clicked "clean the sensor" setting.

Bang.

Camera died.

It shut down and does not turn on.

Very disappointed.

Does anyone have any idea how, if, can be, repaired?

I could hardly be more dissapointed

Not a single scratch.

My camera dead. Not single scratch. Almost brand new since I kept it stored years. ( I have another one)

That's very sad.   I'm not sure it's worth sending away for a repair - in Europe or North America the second-hand value is equivalent to less than 4 hours of skilled labour with on-costs, never mind parts.

There's a chance it could be the battery, as your original model is 8-10 years old.  The battery could be on its last legs if it's been stored discharged for years. The LP-E12 battery is still current, it powers the EOS M200, so it's worth borrowing one from a friend or seeing if your local camera shop will let you try one before you buy.
