Question on best video settings for 4k on the A1
3 months ago
I bought the A1 for its photography capabilities and I know photography. However I want to try some video and am clueless on video or the best settings for 4k on the A1. So in layman terms is it best to shoot 4k in FF or using Super35 mode? From my understanding 4k FF uses pixel binning and Super35 down samples from 5.8k or something like that? So which is better whether shooting 4k/30 or 4k/60? This is so over my head. I programmed my C1 button for turning S35 on or off. I just want to use what ever will give me the best image in video recording in 4k. Thanks

The Canon EOS R8 is the company's latest mid-level full-frame mirrorless camera. It brings the sensor and autofocus from the EOS R6 II and combines them in a smaller, more affordable body.
The Canon EOS R50 is an entry-level, company APS-C mirrorless camera. A 24MP RF-mount camera aiming to attract smartphone users and, perhaps, vloggers.
See what Chris and Jordan think of the Canon EOS R8 after shooting in Charleston, South Carolina.
The Canon EOS R50 is inexpensive. It's tiny. Is it good? Jordan and Chris dodged alligators in South Carolina to find out.
