I think it is fair to say that whatever reason Canon might come up with the majority, if not all Canon RF users would like to see 3rd party lenses and make up their own minds as to whether they meet their specific budget quality requirements.

Probably not all, and perhaps not even a majority. There are certain lenses I'd like to see, but I know of no current 3rd party designs that I would definitely buy if they were available in an RF mount. So I see little value in 3rd party lenses beyond the added competition since they may offer nothing I would buy. 3rd party lenses for the sake of 3rd party lenses isn't necessarily a good path to customers' wallets.

I suspect Canon's current RF line of two extenders and 30+ FF lenses represents well over 50% of the revenue and volume of FF lenses that their (eventually) complete line will provide.

Much of what is left to introduce in FF lenses likely represents niche product.

True - but really with smart phones R camera are niche products these days

Sigmas/Tamrons I'd like to see and probably would buy and no canon product yet:

RFS 18-50 f/2.8  or 17-70 f/2.8

RFS 11-20 2.8

RF 85 1.4 ART

RF 150-600
