A7iv +28-70 +35 1.8 or a7iii 24-105 +35 1.8

I want a lighter kit than my 5d2+24-105 for walk Around, only planning to add a wide angle prime for a while though. What do you all think, better body or better, heavier lens?

city shooting, landscapes, street, 35 for indoor family type things and maybe street

4 things frustrate me now with the 5d2 , having shot a RX1 (original with evf) for years also. Dynamic range, af, lack of a tilt screen (I dont need selfie video stuff just easier low angle) and size -i just don’t take it out much.

I adore the rx1 but the af is pants. Good for zone, sort of, iq is fantastic, but I’m thinking of selling all my stuff and going a7 (also have the 24L and 40 pancake) taking the 24 and 24-105 and 5d out for a walk is too much at this point

I live in London, it rains a fair bit but usually lightly (by world standards)

I toyed with the idea of the Fuji xhs, but I know me and high iso go hand in hand

Any and all opinions welcome. Time for a change and I’m bouncing back and forth. I’ve been shooting 15 years-ish and early on had bad GAS. That’s better now, and price matters. The titled camera combos are very similar, I won’t buy a bunch of £2k lenses, other stuff to do

btw I get the 24-105 a7iii combo only saves 250g, however with all the other boxes ticked I don’t think it’s too heavy. The canon is too heavy alongside the other aged aspects.
