It should be obvious that people would vote for wanting 3rd Party lenses in RF mount. But not everybody has.

What do you mean? There wasn’t an option that said “I don’t want there to be third party lenses”. I voted that I’m happy with RF lenses, and I am. If I were in the Sony or Nikon systems, I would definitely switch to Canon, to get access to the lenses that no other manufacturer provides (16, 50, 85, 100-400, 70-200, etc.). I would be quite happy for there to be third party RF lenses too. I’m just not at all bothered, not even a little bit, that there currently aren’t. At least not for my own photography. It would be nice for them to be available for those who think they need them.

Why could you possibly not want that? You don't have to buy them if you don't want to. But experience tells us that they are generally cheaper ( I know some people on DPR have unlimited funds!) and the odd ones crop up that are better than the OEM version. What's not to like? Then again, some people voted for Brexit!
