I just got my R7 and am using it with a Lexar Gold 2000x. I don't shoot a lot of video so for me it's about burst mode. The R7 at max resolution and max shooting speed got 6.6 seconds of jpg+raw which ended up being 55 pictures and and 2.7GB. I estimate it wrote to the UHSII card at 150MB/s (based on how long it took to empty the card once full, not perfect, but as good as I can get). The card is supposed to be capable of 260MB/s according to Lexar but I haven't been able to get anywhere near that on a PC or the camera. The bigger question in my mind, and I would love to hear from GURUs, what will this camera use the second card for? With two UHSII cards in the camera in burst no images were written to card two. Is the second card simply capacity?

I believe you can use it for capacity, mirror each shot, or use one slot for stills and the other for video. Or you could ignore it.
