Z9 Long Exposure Evening Shots from the South Bank of the Thames (with Nikon School UK)

I went on an evening walk along the south side of The River Thames in London in a small group arranged by the Nikon School UK - Thanks Neil - I shoot long and some very long exposures to smooth out the water and generate light trails -- here are a selection of shots. The shot details are in the description on flickr. Most shots used a Kase Wolverine ND64 & light pollution (NEUTRAL NIGHT) filter to knockback reflected light and reduce the orange sodium glow that is associated with old style street and residential lighting. The first few shots also used a CPL.
The whole album and higher res versions can be seen HERE
The first image was of a Double Rainbow over the Millenium Wheel -- not long exposure but interesting phenomenon:
HDR of shot into the setting sun
HDR a little later with underlit clouds
Hard not to over expose the face of Big Ben while giving enough light to the face of the Houses of Parliament
The Millenium Wheel may turn slowly but not compared to the long exposure
Selective focus through fairy lights
St Pauls under Blackfriars Bridge with light trails from a ferry (River Bus)
St P with the Millennium Bridge on the Right
St P with the Millennium Bridge on the Left and a not pleasant building site centre foreground
Neil holding this pose for 30-seconds while passers bye ghost into the background
The classical shot from the Millenium (Wobbly) Bridge 60-second exposure to further ghost-out walkers
Classical 60-second exposure looking downstream over London Bridge to Tower Bridge, The Shard and bright light on a crane (top right) -- nice to see many cranes back over London (something must be working)
