PC's were more reliable than Macs in 2020, 2019, and 2018.

That article doesn't show that "PCs" were more reliable than Macs in 2020.  It claims that Microsoft and Lenovo had the top "Reliability Scores" in 2020.  Apple was third, with other PC vendors like Dell, HP, and Asus scoring lower than Apple.

For the 2018 – 2020 reports, Apple consistently scored better than Dell, HP, and Asus.

Apple was #1 in 2017.

Note that all of these articles seem to lump together everything that a vendor makes – desktops, high-end laptops, low-end laptops, tablets, whatever.  If that's the case, the scores for a particular computer line might be better or worse than the overall scores for the vendor who makes/made it.
