IBIS in X-H2 & X-T5
2

I quite fancy upgrading from my X-T3 to either a X-H2 or X-T5. I'm undecided on the dials or PASM, so I need to go and have a play.

My main reason for the upgrade is to have IBIS, but I'm wondering what real advantage this will give me?

I'm mainly a landscape photographer taking photos in low light whilst maintaining as low as possible iso, so shutter speed is often an issue.

If I use a lens without OIS, will it feel like a lens that has stabilisation, or is that expectation unrealistic?

What additional stabilisation should I expect with lenses that have OIS? I use the 10-24 a lot and I struggle to hand hold this below about 1/10th. If I could get lower that would be really useful. Sure I can use a tripod and I do a lot, but there are times where it can't be used, like I'm holding my camera out over a river to get the shot etc.

I have zero experience of IBIS, so I would really appreciate some input as to how useful it is in the real world.

I'm not interested in video.

Many thanks
