My plans?
Keep using it until it dies or I die. The M System (and M6ii in particular) has been the funnest most capable little camera/system I’ve ever shot with. We’ve fit together like peas and carrots.
And recently in the areas that I’ve needed additional capabilities, I’ve simply bought another Canon camera (system). I’ve found what I’ve needed in each instance: R5 for birding/wildlife and events/sports, R6 (and soon to be R6ii) for events/sports, and R7 for macro. These bodies and the associated lenses have been simply outstanding performers.
What about a future APS-C R50 or R100? Well, if it retains a TILT SCREEN, then I’ll consider it. I’ll just use my basic RF lenses on it for now (plus the sweet little RF-S 18-150). They’re all actually pretty darn capable, esp if the new bodies get specced with the R7/R10’s autofocus! No reason they shouldn’t.
Heck, I’m a happy camper no matter which way Canon goes.
Best of luck with your own decisions!

What an upbeat, positive reply ... a refreshing read. Thanks.
Yes, same for me. I have a recent M50ii with EFm 11-22 and Sigma 30 EFm. Will add the EFm 22mm this week to complete this mini collection, it's very cheap now. And hold it until it dies. I use this for the wide angles: these are great. It is small and light. Don't need a R50 or R100 (... without lenses...that solves nothing...)
When I travel I always have a second body for more reach. My 6D or RP. I will buy the R7 (for the AutoFocus) with the RF-s 18-150 and use my adapted EF lenses and the STM RF primes. R6ii too expensive for me, but tempting. I will never buy those expensive RF lenses > 1000 €. It is not that important for me. My collection gives me all the fun I need.
