Hi folks - I'm invested in both systems with the XT3 and XT4 and the EM1iii and EM1X
I'm having a bit of an existentialist crisis with my kit. I posted this in M43 forum too.
I'm more heavily invested in Fuji lenses and tend to use Fuji for event work and everyday shooting.
I'm using the Oly cameras for Rugby, mostly due to the extra reach with the M43 system. I use the Lumix 100-300 and 12-40 pro.
Mostly the M43 kit works well for action but I wonder how this compares AF wise to Fuji - largely the XT3 and XT4. (For sports I have the 55-200 and 16-55 for Fuji) and whether I could get better AF with...gulp...another system?
I am considering whether or not my setup could be improved for sports.
I am prepared to trade and buy lenses/camera body etc
My main considerations are autofocus and reach. Not so much about burst rate as I tend to shoot in continuous slow.
Any views would be very much appreciated. Thanks
I had both the XT3 and EM1.3. I would say that CAF is a toss between the two systems.
In the end I would get slightly more BIF keepers with the EM1.3 + Z100-400 than the XT3 + 70-300, maybe because I used that system more and got better. Lens reach is very important too. For sports I consider both systems capable if you get the right lenses.
