Hi,

I just got the R7 and trying to learn.
I've seen in the video reviews that when I do high speed continuous shooting, the buffer status shows as orange bar on the left of the screen. But when I shoot, when the buffer gets full I just see the last frame kind of frozen on screen without any other info displayed and screen comes back when the buffer is cleared. I don't see the buffer bar anywhere. Am I missing some setting?

On my info display I have the 'detailed' without histogram and the level.

Thank you!

You're thinking of "RAW Burst Mode" which is distinct from bursting.  "Raw Burst Mode" packages the images into a single file, sort of like a movie, but is intended mainly for its stills.  For normal bursting, the number of estimated available image spaces in the buffer is in the lower right of the viewfinder, to the right of the number of images that can be taken with the card's free space.  Both these figures are just estimates, as every file is a different size.
