I'd stay away from Canon simply because of their patent, nobody is allowed to make aftermarket lenses for their mirrorless system as of now. I ended up going with a Panasonic Lumix S5 and love it, but still have my K5iis. I'm selling my K1 simply because I wanted a lightweight full frame and the S5 ticked all the boxes.

That's an interesting piece of information.

Those 3rd parties should make lenses for K mount instead, as a revenge over Canon
