Re: handheld focus stacking with E-M1 III

I tried handheld focus stacking with my E-M5 III & 12-100 F/4 PRO, not for macro but for landscape. I had no error messages, however picture quality is not super. There are some artefacts resulting from camera movement. They are especially noticeable in the post-processed version of the image, where I increased clarity and dehaze (I post-processed all single RAW shots with the same settings and stacked the processed RAWs in OM Workspace, excluding the shots completely out of focus).

Here is an example that should clarify what I mean.

Next time I'll try with a mini tripod. But I see plenty of handheld stacked images on Instagram and Youtube, and I can't understand how those people can get that level of quality without a tripod. Perhaps on E-M1 III / OM-1 it's easier?
