I used to be Fuji Xe2 and xt2, but the changed to Sony for resolution ie A7rii now A7riv, but with Fuji now having The higher resolution XT and XH 2 I’m considering going back to Fuji.

Reasons smaller more compact lens system p, the more simpler design and menus, more user friendly and as a lot say you want to use the Fuji system more.plus lots of others reasons.

I went mirrorless in the first place because of camera size got sick of the weight,

Im mainly a landscape photographer, bit of wildlife birds etc, portraits and plan to do a bit of macro, and sports, but landscape no 1

My original thoughts where to add the new A7rv to my kit and keep the A7riv as well and have a 2 camera system, with mainly GM lens.

I just sold my Leica Q2 as I found it too limiting as my second camera, loved the images etc but could not get used to just 28 mm lens if I only had one camera with me.

I do a bit of long exposure landscapes Nisi filters and will be continuing with that if not more.

What I would like to hear if anyone has tried both systems with the new Fuji 40 megapixel sensor.

I don’t do video but if I change I could go for 2 camera system XT5 and XH2 both with the bigger sensor.

How much DR will I lose with Fuji if any?

MF is not a option as just too slow for some of what I do.

I do shoot raw all the time and I use LR for processing.

,Had a play today with XT 5 and XH2, took some quick images and the feel of each camera, XT 5 very small in big hands and a pity a quip not available, XH2 just so different in the controls to what I’m use to in Sony A7riv.

Looking at my images taken I feel it would be a backward step going back to Fuji.

I think its a tough call, iq wise Fuji can definitely deliver from the X-H2/X-T5 problem will be premium zooms, in all honesty it feels as if it's the same on all systems!

Sony 24-70 GM ii looks cool but the lenses I really want on Sony are mostly Tamron, 20-40 2.8 is probably perfect fit for me, similarly I have a lot of respect for 70-180, the new 50-400 would also be on my priority list. So many good primes on e-mount too hard to go wrong and its the same with Fuji but zooms are still a little hit and miss but you do have the highly regarded 16-55 2.8, but is it small enough? 8-16 is very large and 10-24 is good but not phenomenal.

70-300 is great and compact ad 50-140 a competitive 70-200 alternative!
