I would vote for the 18-55mm. I like zooms for travel- situations can change quickly and you don't have to fuss with changing lenses.  Maybe the 16mm f.1.4 for wider and low light situations.  You said budget is limited but the 16-55mm f/2.8 would get you that zoom with a more "prime- like" image quality. Have a great time! Visited Japan before the pandemic hit.
