I tried a few shots today with the 17-70 at slower shutter speed indoors (1/15th at 17mm and 1/80th at 70mm) on the on the xt4 and xh2s and I think it performed well enough.

Images were acceptably sharp and focusing was not slow at all.

Later in a brighter room I tried a 1 second shot but with the aperture at F10 In afc. At that point it was pulsing/hunting etc. I switched to single a/f and it locked in just fine. The pics were all terrible at 70mm at 1 second but that was me. I did manage some at 1/4 second though.

Only mild sounds from the focus motor so not a problem .

But I understand that if you've tried 2 and had a bad experience you might want to go with the 16-55.

Cheers

Paul
