The K 5IIs don't have an AA filter and that's very good. Like others write, that is a good solution.

On the other hand, the K5 types don't got the update for that they can use the lens with the electric aperture...like the DA 55-300mm PLM.

In your situation, with the lens you have, you cover already a wide focal range, but you have with the 28mm only a mild wide angle lens. Maybe for your trip you add a 18mm focal range to it.

So, that is not really a decision: I would maybe get a K5 IIs and something around 18mm and than you have all the time to find later the camera you will use in the future.....the K5 IIs you can sell for sure with only a little loss, because it's the only K5 model, which has no AA filter.
