Assuming the discontinuation of the Canon M mount is imminent, what are your gear plans ?
I voted "other" as I will keep using some of my M gear, but at the same time "migrate to other brand crop sensor" for new gear. It is possible to have two systems, you know.
This is a though one.
I’m all over the place on this one.
Every time I think about it I come with a different conclusion.:-)
The easiest path would be to do nothing and stick to it until the end, but is not the wisest move, long term.
I am more unsure of when to start the migration. I have still a small hope that Canon will continue the M system, but how long do we have to wait to be sure on the continuation (or discontinuation)? One more month, one year? My money has started to burn in my pocket now. Lol.
i think there are 2 Hopes that canon will continue to develop the M ...no Hope and Bob Hope
the writing was on the wall when the better-selling flagship M5 was discontinued in favor of the M6, that's when i bailed.. having no VF is not an option for me and now the M6mkii is discontinued
its a shame as the M had the best size/cost to IQ ratio going but i can see why canon is neglecting the M ..it WILL be gobbled up by the phone sooner or later

There is no argument for FF vs APS-c (or m43) with shallow DOF..as it's a law of physics and a very subjective personal thing if you want to make use of the shallow DOF only FF can offer
