My experience with the App really depends on the camera body. I've used only the iOS version, on both iPhone and iPad. With XS10, I occasionally encounter the lost connection issue, but that's not that unbearable in fact, a restart of App and camera will solve the problem. With the new XH2, I find the connection is more stable and the transfer speed is really fast when using 5G. Meanwhile, I just got an XE3, used, and now I begin to understand why there are so many complaints about the App: connection takes MINUTES instead of seconds, and the transfer is slow and easily interrupted. I think I'll just grab an sd card reader then.
