Colorado Hiking with X-T3
17

Two weeks back I went hiking to arguably most mountainous state in the States. The plan was to take only minimal equipment, since we were up to do long hikes.

The gear taken: X-t3, 8mm samyang, 10-24mm, 18-55mm, 55-200mm,extra battery and a polarizing filter. I carried no tripod.

The gear to stay home: 13mm and 33mm viltrox, 12mm samyang and 300mm sigma.

The choice to leave primes at home(except 8mm, the lightest of all) was mostly because weight was an issue and I planned to do only day time photography. The zooms provide enough quality I need for that.

No laptop was carried either, so I just used my phone and LR mobile on jpegs to post on social media.

Here are couple of favorite frames.

Long's peak and the diamond wall.

Blue lakes to mt. Sneffels

Lower blue lake

San Juan Mountains

St. Catherine's chapel, pesk to peak highway

Telluride
