If Canon drops the M6 II’s price to $549 again (refurbished) I will pull the trigger. I have the RP and a few FF lenses but when I travel or go to a local park the M50 is always my choice. So instead of waiting for a small RF crop body (which should not be as small as a M body) and ‘re-buying’ lenses like the 11-22, 22, 28 and 18-150 (who knows how long it will take for their release) my own version of future proofing is to buy a second and better M body.
btw, I don’t shoot anything moving (fast), so digic X and other AF niceties are not a must have to me. I can use ES most of the time and don’t even need to think about the infamous shutter shock I heard so much about.
I am always on MS and never seen the infamous shutter shock in the 10k images I have taken since I got it.
