It looks like the rear dial has over rode the ‘A’ option on shutter dial.

check custom settings for your dial.

shutter speed showing fixed at 1/4000

its also showing your in manual mode.

I can see now that on the bottom left, I'm on manual mode. But how can I get out of manual mode? How can I change that setting? I tried changing a lot of the settings but none seems to work.

Here's another video to show my settings. If you can please help to check what I need to adjust. I hope this is enough but if it's not I'll take more videos. Thanks!

Rotate the rear dial until shutter speed changes from 1/4000 to “A” so it matches your top shutter speed dial.

I figured out the problem now. In this video, you can see that the dial is not responding properly after I set the SS dial to more than 15.

So when I rotate the SS dial from 4, 8, 15, the blue indication on the bottom left changes correctly. When I finally change it to 30, the blue indicator at the bottom stays at 15. So

Dial == Indicator

15 == 15
30 == 15
60 == 30
125 == 60

-- hide signature --

4000 == 2000
A == 4000
Meaning, it's not actually turning to "A", it remains at 4000 because when the dial turns to 30, the indicator did not change to 30. So I'm shooting at 1/4000, not auto.
Is this a hardware problem? I really thought this changed  when I updated the firmware.
