Hi Ray. I use SyncBack Free. It is easy to set up. You can run it manually, once set up, or set it up to run automatically while you sleep or whenever. Best of luck getting your files backed up. I have mine set up to mirror my data (photo) drive to my external hard drive.

Basically, you just tell it the location you want the Source to be and the location you want the Destination to be. Any additions or deletions to the Source files will be applied to the Destination files when you run it.

Office has an auto save function build in. You can set it for time and the drive/folder where to store the auto restore file. If something happens then it will load the autorestore version. You can find it under options-store...

Next to this you can store the files on a differnt drive...Bij making back-ups.

For system back-ups this is really simple and good software:

The standard version is free:

It can also do file back-ups.

The other options mentioned are also good alternatives for file back-ups.
