As much as I love my Fujifilm cameras and lenses, the Camera Remote app is horrible in both iOS and Android. I have always wondered how Fujifilm can be such a success with their cameras, lenses and in-camera software, yet fail so miserably with the app, and for how many years now?

Well, perhaps many (most???) people don’t really need or have a use for it. If that’s the case (as it is with me anyway), it’s a big “don’t care” and not a major factor in a camera purchase decision. Admittedly, this is strictly a guess on my part and I have no data to back that assumption.

If it’s many/most that don’t care about the Fuji app is really irrelevant. Fuji put their name on the app it should work as advertised. If they can’t fix it over a period of years it should just be withdrawn. Things like this should be embarrassing to a large corporation - apparently not.

Obviously, it’s an issue for you. And I can’t disagree with the fact that it should be fully operational and useful. However, it has absolutely no relevance to any purchase decisions that I would make. Clearly, YMMV.
