As much as I love my Fujifilm cameras and lenses, the Camera Remote app is horrible in both iOS and Android. I have always wondered how Fujifilm can be such a success with their cameras, lenses and in-camera software, yet fail so miserably with the app, and for how many years now?

Well, perhaps many (most???) people don’t really need or have a use for it. If that’s the case (as it is with me anyway), it’s a big “don’t care” and not a major factor in a camera purchase decision. Admittedly, this is strictly a guess on my part and I have no data to back that assumption.

I use mine all the time. I have no issues with it and I can safely say that I have no idea what could be missing. I download images (jpg) and use the camera remotely. There may be some functionality that isn’t in it for some users of the gear, but it’s fine for me. Connects and is usable every time.
