5) sell everything else
You're suggesting I sell off my M collection?
NoNo. I think he meant everything else (but still keeping the M System).
R2
oh, right
his wife might appreciate m system too vs chain of custody needed for $10K beast for family vacations and family photos away from the house
I'm toying with the idea of going all R...
why keep your R when u have R3?
Not in any rush to decide, but it's crossed my head recently. The smartphone, is killing the low end, Marco isn't wrong, and neither am I as I've been reminded about where things are going for Canon.
I had 4 cameras at one of my recent events but I used my iphone 13 to do all the video clips - it did great
If Canon could do an R100
24 mpxl on crop - not for me anymore
and a strong 35 RF-S,
they aren't going to repeat their mistake and give us an m32 f1.4 in rf-s
you have the rf 35 f1.8 but on crop, it doesn't keep up with the m32 f1.4 on 32.5 mpxl's
once again, you are missing the power of dxo - now PL6. when one combines 32.5 mpxl of the m6II, and one of the sharpest wide-open lenses ever, the m32 f1.4, and latest dxo deep prime, wowsers, in this small package I have been photographing people using spot focus and the back screen - and I'm getting event results that are very pleasing with sharp eyes, good colors, and noise managed all for $1400 instead of $10,000
but of course if you are into that auto eye focus trickery, spend the extra $8600 to take photos of your kids
just joking of course - am a bit jealous I cheated my kids of photos
that's all I'd really need for portable power.
best wishes on your quest - visualize the shot before taking it, faces and eyes toward you, and post only the great ones!
