Just got my refurbished M6ii and have been toying around with it a bit. Definitely much more capable than my M5, and I'm just scratching the surface. I'm amazed by how much cleaner higher ISO shots look than on my M5. If they had just made a certain of it in an EVF body! Ok, now I'm getting off track with M5ii crazy talk. 😉

Saw this comparison video by Christopher Frost, who's reviews are great and pretty down to earth. It shows the R7 basically outperforming the RP in every way except shallow DOF.

No. The RP outperforms the R7 by not needing the sharpest glass on earth to make the most of it's sensor.

well, M6 mk II seems to like my 18-150, 15-45, 55-200 and 55-250 well enough.

I am even willing to claim that M6ii and 15-45 produces sharper and better results than RP and 24-105 stm.

The video looks at just the type of decision Canon has pushed many of us to make - enthusiast APS-C or entry level FF.

Lucky for many of us, we snagged the same sensor and 90% of the performance for 1/3 the price with the M6ii deal! 😎

45 is more than enough, but 500.000 isn't
