Why would he zoom in? Does this picture is gonna end up as a mural? Or a gigantic 60x40 inch print?

Enjoy your camera and the moments you capture with it, no need to develops OCD about details and noises and whatnot. No one is gonna look at that memory in 10, 20 years and say « oH YEah ThIs CoUld HavE UsEd BeTer NoiSe PP »

true, but

the op lacks best in class NR tools was my point - and could generate better stuff with tools costing 1/10 the cost.

put best in class NR into the equation as you practice for the big event
