Ah. Yes, I have the X100V and the X-Pro2, but for some reason I thought the X-Pro3’s dial was the same as the X100V’s, not the same as the X-Pro2’s.

It does indeed make quite a difference—not because I change ISO often, but paradoxically because I don’t, which means that when I do I’m normally jumping by 3 stops, ie 9 clicks, at a time—which means two “lift and shift” operations (or more often three, when I realise I’ve dropped the dial either side of the position I’d aimed for). To be honest I’m old school and would prefer ISO to be full-stop increments, but I suspect I’m in the minority.
