The THK long lens I’d suggest for an M camera is the 100 gram Kenko 1.4x HD Teleconverter for EF and EF-S combined with the 380 gram EF-S 55-250 This combo has AF and IS. Add the EF to M adapter and it’s still a fairly lightweight and compact 350mm that zooms back to 80mm with variable aperture. For telephoto subject isolation the bokeh looks nice too. Granted it’s my first week with the new Teleconverter but so far my perched bird or longer range semi macro needs are well met

Can you tell me, this set up is just a matter of assembling the camera, lens and TC together and it works? Or do you need to do some D-I-Y hacking in order to make it work?

I've seen other examples here but they had to modify the TC a bit in order to get it to work

I'm looking for a no hassles method with TC and Lens that can work on the EF-M system.
