+1 Love this lens for shooting peeps.

Had a real struggle deciding whether or not to get the R3, but wanted to keep the size down. Plus I've been holding out for the R1 as my "big" body. No doubt that the R3 is King of the Hill right now though!!

But I figure the R6ii will tide me over until then.

Eh, the stacked sensor is something to write home about in the R3. Real shame the R6II is non stacked, FSI.

Yeah I did the evaluation, and the R6ii sensor will suit my needs for what I'll be using it for. No prob for me there. And I have my R5 if I need a little extra boost in various areas (resolution, buffer, weather sealing, readout speed, etc).

24MP is still welcome, but the low light EV rating of the R6II tells me it’s still FSI. The R3 though, is definitely “pro”, the R5/6, don’t have that same feel/polish. Or price

Don't be saying those things! You're going to cost me more money!!

I will be using the R6ii in a "pro" capacity too though (which I'm doing with the R6 right now),

looks like the R6II rocks, particularly with the improvements to e-shutter, lack of rolling shutter

you can shoot in e-shutter 40 fps most of time

and am definitely looking forward to the upgrades!
