Fast shutter speeds vs chest pod solution...?

My suggestions:
Shoot raw & get latest noise reduction software (AI based). I use PhotoLab 5.
Once you can quit worrying about high ISO noise, you can use short/quick shutter speeds. I shoot F4 with variable ISO. I use 3 RX10M4 memories thus:
(1) Extremely poor light (practically dark) ISO 1600-12800 min SS=1/30

to truly master high ISO noise reduction
vs. some simple immediate mechanical
solution...

Hey Jeff,

Like Meow says no learning curve with PhotoLab DeepPrime Elite noise reduction. The sample ISO 12,800 photo I included had zero manual input. I took the photo and ran it through PhotoLab Elite. Your chest mount stabilizing solutions have to be carried with you and do nothing for subject movement. If you have never shot RX10M4 at 12,800, take a few raw shots (with fast shutter speeds) and run them through trial version of DXO PhotoLab Elite. You will be impressed.
NOTE: PhotoLab Elite DeepPrime NR works only on raw shots. However, Topaz DeNoise AI works on JPG and seems to be close to PhotoLab DeepPrime NR.

Cheers,
Bert
