Hi Fujix100vuseruk,
An interesting challenge which has forced us (well) outside of our comfort zone - 10 exhibits from us (hopefully meeting your criteria)…

The Marble Entrance Hall of Holkham Hall, Norfolk. (The dome ceiling is 50 ft high).
The lower part of the 60ft high St Nectan’s Kieve Waterfall in St Nectan’s Glen, Cornwall.
Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire. (Once home to William Henry Fox Talbot - the man who invented the photographic negative).
Rain popped petals in the gardens at Stourhead, Wiltshire.
Monument marking the source of the River Stour (located on the Stourhead Estate).
Three Shire’s Head Bridge on Axe Edge Moor, where Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire meet.
Delamere Forest, Cheshire, is the largest area of woodland in England (apparently!).
Cubar Edge in Derbyshire - popular with climbers, hang-gliders - and photographers…
A misty morning in Hartshill Country Park, Warwickshire.
Don’t forget to look up - Merevale Estate, Warwickshire.

I have a real passion for black and white . I even add heavy grain every now and again

We do like to dabble with B&W and ‘Chiaroscuro’, pushing things around a bit in post - including an occasional dip into DxO FilmPack. (Time, as always, being a big limiter *).
(* Along with talent… :-D ).
An inspirational collection of striking images is being gathered here - great challenge!

Well, the "Moqui Marble" got lost in the shuffle and there is certainly over and under developed shadows and highlights. Thank you for sharing.They are very nice takes but as Bill says they are not exactly high contrast.
Hope that two meet the category.

it’s not the best scene for high contrast but to give you an idea here’s what it would look like using high contrast
Did you convert the color photo, or one of the "black and white" copies? Reason I ask is that the first b/w is actually a "false color" image, mimicking B/W in the "Hues" section of my post processor. So, I'm wondering how you got it to spread out that much.
My first sample will accept any of the "color droppers." The B/W version is limited to greyscale.
