When will I upgrade my X-T3

I consider myself a tech addict and someone that constantly needed to upgrade the gear to have the latest and gratest. Same applies to the photo gear: Sometimes I feel that I enjoy the tech nerdy part of it more than the photography itself. I started with an olympus e-pl2, then decided to get a bigger camera-canon T2i, then even bigger- canon 6d, then I went into the DxO rabbithole and ended up with a Nikon D750. At that point my carry-on bag was nothing but camera gear. Sure, I could then take better milkyway landscapes than with m43, but at what cost?
Eventually I admitted that my photos haven't really improved since the very beginning and it was not the gear that limited me. I stepped down to fuji and sold all of the full frame gear. After admitting that I give up the gear race, I invested myself more into the photography. Everything actually started by watching the classical photograper series of "The Art of Photography" youtube channel. Guess what even with the inferior gear, the images became better and better.
It's only now that I understand what I need vs what I want. As from the X-T5, I wanted a better sensor and better features: screen/viewfinder, apps and connectivity. Better sensor I would like to have will include image stacking in the go, higher low iso DR and preferably no X-trans. Things that are available in smartphones for years now and will give a meaningful upgrade in terms of image quality. As for the screen/viewfinder, I love the new EVFs of Sony a7r iv's(same as in GFX 100), something nice to have. What I really don't understand is the poor quality of all the lcd displays on the cameras. I want something modern. Why are those bezels so thick (again 3-4yo smartphones are much better)? Add some android/ios app support and we'll have a "modern" camera. So yes, X-T5 is not modern by any of those means and won't improve neither my experience for the landscape photography, nor the pictures. I'll keep the T3 till a modern camera appears onto the market.
Clearly, YMMV, especially if you use AF a lot: I've heard the AF did get improved.
