1980- Received a Kodak Disc camera for Christmas. Went out with it that very day and somehow captured a Pileated woodpecker in flight. I was hooked. Used the disc camera a few years and graduated to a Pentax K-1000. Started using slide film and was in awe when viewing the vivid colors through one of those battery operated push button slide viewers. Eventually purchased a used Nikon FA, then a Kiev 6x6 roll film camera, both of which I sold way back in the mid 1990's to pursue other hobbies. Gave up photography until around 2019 when I got bit by the bug again.

Did you scan any of it? I'm fascinated by the output of those old non professional camera from back then. Maybe because it was snapshots of real life moments crudely taken.
