Sharpness is achieved but the increase of contrast. PTAI also has s detail slider which is usually a micro contrast adjustment. I think PL has dedicated micro contrast window but it has been over a year since I've used.

PL has multiple micro contrast controls. For example, I reduce it in the shadows and increase it in the highlights. There's also ClearView Plus, which you can apply both globally and in local adjustments.

Clearview is ok, but not as good as haze removal in Neo, BTW

I have both, so will compare them. Do you have a test file to try, or should I choose one of my own? From which continent? I have plenty from all seven.

You choose. If necessary, I’ll debunk later with one of my own. Go for it.

I though this was an interesting challenge, and picked four very different hazy example shots of mine from around the world, each shot with a different camera.

I find that I get far better results from PL6 than Luminar Neo 1.4.2, but that may be because of my greater familiarity with PhotoLab (though I've had Neo much longer than PL6). I hope you can do better with Neo than I am. Here's one example:

My result with Neo

My result with PL6

I thought it better to start a new thread, rather than continue the discussion in the Photo AI thread.
