I was very happy with the Tamron when I had it; sharp, pleasing bokeh and good AF for a 3rd party lens. Some people can't live with the green and purple fringing but I didn't find it too bad.

Since going mirrorless I've switched to the Sigma 50 Art. Overall I prefer the Sigma, not least for the faster AF and faster aperture, but there are still times when I wonder if the Tamron might have managed better overall rendering for certain shots.
