So, clearly Fujifilm needs to address some hardware issues with this camera and improve it to make it more robust and reliable, after all, they are marketing it as their premium luxury camera. I expect nothing less then refined perfection in this camera!

This would be Fujifilms equivalent to the Leica MP, in my opinion.

Where has Fuji ever said (much less marketed) it is their luxury premium camera?

and you expect it to be like a $6000 film camera in build quality?

Fujifilm had a presentation in one of their X-Summit’s defining each of the different models. I can’t find it anymore but in it they labelled the Xpro series as their luxury line.

I don’t expect the Xpro to be on par with a Leica MP but I do expect to be a level of fit and finish that is above the other models if they are going to charge a premium and market it as a luxury item.

Even if they mentioned in a “summit” that’s not exactly marketing it as such. They are simply not in the luxury market. Nobody buys the camera because it’s a luxury product.

I do agree they need to make sure the X-Pro4 is really good this time though and step it up a notch. I think they will.
