Definitely. The images may not be magical in themselves, but they are sharp. I find most image magic comes from subject matter and lighting. This lens is definitely capable of producing magical images, but the magic doesn’t come from the lens.

The F4 might not produce as deeply out of focus background as the 50 F1.8, but the bokeh is smoother, in my experience.
