Z 24-120 is a lot better than 24-200

I too have both lenses and the 24-120S is much better at the wide end.

24-200 goes to f6.3 very early in its zoom range, and exhibits aperture flickering when zooming from 24 to 70mm or so. Physical aperture changes in steps which is visible in videos. But, it has lens VR which the 24-120S unfortunately lacks.

I have both - but I have not found any dramatic difference in the tests of normal subjects on a tripod in good light. By normal subjects I meant backyard plants and flowers and a sloped ground.
