Hi all,

Can the focus point be selected using screen as touch-pad with the M6 II while using an optional EVF? I haven't found a way to do that on my M6. I doubt it makes a difference which evf is used, but mine is the tilting model, EVF-DC1.

Thanks for any knowledge on this issue.

Hi

Yes

I think it should be possible on the M6 too?

sorry - was wrong!

It was on the M5.

this is right

I use the EVF almost always on the M6II - but is the DC-2.

As is this.

Thanks Kevin. Good to know touch AF works on M6ii with EVF in use. The M50ii also works this way with built-in EVF.

Now I need to decide which to upgrade to. I know M6ii has twice the burst rate (with AF) of the M50ii, but 7fps is good enough for me. 24MP is enough too. Eye AF is pretty equal or maybe even a bit better on the M50ii I've heard.

M6ii also has much bigger buffer, with UHS-II card I almost never have to wait for the buffer to clear.

So, what else? I might miss the M6ii intervalometer I guess.

wired remote support is a must have
