Kauai Helicopter Photo Experience - Couple questions to adequately prepare!

Wasn’t exactly sure where to post this question. Due to not seeing an aerial photography forum, I figured since I shoot Canon I will post it here and also in the Landscape and Travel photography forum

Wife and I scheduled a last minute, doors off, helicopter photo tour in Kauai in the next few days! Super excited! With that, I have a couple questions in order to adequately prepare:

1). What lens should I bring? I’m vacillating between my Canon RF 24-105 f4 or my Canon RF 14-35 f4. I’m leaning toward the RF 14-35, but fear it may be too wide. Unfortunately, I only have one body and will not be changing lenses mid-flight. (My wife will most likely have my Olympus Tough TG-6 or her smart-phone).

2). I hope to bring a polarizing filter attached to the lens to cut down on glare. I have a Freewell Magnetic Polarizing filter. The magnet is pretty strong, but it is not a screw-on type filter. For those that have experience, is this type of filter attachment allowed (e.g. magnetic filter attachment vs. screw on filter attachment)?

I will be asking the company these questions as well…but if anyone has any additional insights to prepare for some once in a lifetime images, I’m all ears!

Thanks in advance for help and any insights!
