Canon RF-S 18-45mm Lens vs 18-150mm Lens - Which Kit Lens Is Better?
1

I got the RF-S 18-150 lens with my R7. R10 buyers have a choice of two lenses the RF-S 18-45 or the 18-150. Recent review have shown the RF-S 18-45mm be a soft in the corners:

This review compares the two lens choices typical sample application shots including some macro shots. It enjoyed and it may be an important video to check if you would to see his comparison in typical use. I had low expectations about 18-150. I bought it to get quicker delivery on the camera ( I was able to get it in June 23 shipment from B&H). I was shocked with the IQ performance. For a kit lens the 18-150mm is surprisingly sharp and with good IQ throughout it's zoom range.

The RF-S 18-150mm may be a better choice for the R10 buyer that has a choice. After seeing this comparison I know I would choose it.

Should you want a review of video capabilities rather than the stills of the RF-S 18-150mm. You might check out
