With regards to the Powershot G4, I think that was a mistake and we are actually talking about a G2.
What I actually want to do is simply reprocess some images taken with the G2 and IXUS 60, utilising automatic lens correction.
I am happy to use Lightroom or DPP4, whichever is easiest.
I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to implement automatic lens corrections for these two cameras. Can I do this directly in Lightroom or DPP4? Or do I need to purchase some third-hand profiles? If the latter, any suggestions as to where I can find these.
One final question. When I open an image in Lightroom, I seem to have many more lens profiles available than I do when I open the same image in Photoshop. Shouldn't these be the same as they are both based on ACR?
If there is lens profile for G2 then lightroom should be able to apply it automatically but for jpegs, haven't they always been already corrected, I never use jpegs myself.
