Hi Fuji crew,

recently purchased this awesome camera. I noticed when I am focusing quickly between subjects/objects there is a very brief freeze before snapping focus to the desired object. It's enough that it's a bit annoying if say I am switching quickly between objects or trying to manually focus on a quickly moving object - a bird hopping about.
I am however using a fringer adapter on an 18-35mm so I would like to know if this is an isolated issue with just my camera/setup or if other people get the same issue.

Thanks all!

Okay, first are you using Electronic Shutter? That’s the only way to get blackout free.

Now as for the lag, I would use a native lens as there’s no guarantee a Fringer adapted lens is going to focus as well.

It is about the lens.  The Fringer adapters with a fast lens will preform as fast as the fastest Fuji lenses.
