For me, photography is a hobby, one I inherited from my father. My thoughts for getting an RP is, the only FF I can afford. I can't afford/justify buying anything more expensive. But, I would also like a smaller travel/casual camera, so M4/3 seem the best way to go, smaller lenses/bodies (in some cases).

How does the price of the Nikon Z5 compare to the RP in your region? In the US, the Z5 is about $250 more expensive, but it includes IBIS and is all-around a bit better camera. Nikon also has a few crop Z mount bodies, but they are all a bit below the Canon R10. Conversely, the crop Z lenses are a bit better than the crop RF lenses. Some interesting crop and full frame third party lenses are starting to launch for the Nikon Z mount while Canon is actively blocking third party support.

Something else to consider are the Fringer Smart Adapters (www.fringeradapter.com).  While not inexpensive, they work incredibly well.  One of these adapters would allow you to still purchase cheap EF glass, but every lens would be stabilized by the Z5.  In this regard, the old Canon glass would actually work better on a Nikon body than the Canon RP.
