I think I've decided to get an RP full frame. It's not much larger than some M4/3 cameras. Will wait until the holiday sales come up, so time to think. So, that's where I'm leaning now.

If you don't need fast AF the RP is pretty good value in my opinion.  If you use the 24-105mm kitlens and stop it down a bit it will give way better IQ than the M zooms. It's only 400 grams.  The RF 24,35,50,85 stm primes aren't crazy heavy either. Pick one or two for your low light needs.  The 16mm is a low budget wide angle option, and the 100-400 is both affordable and light weight too.

As long as you don't need fast AF there's no reason to go with crop bodies, and from the lenses I listed above only the 100-400mm gives you fast USM AF. With the others AF won't be fast anyway.

I saw the review of Christopher Frost of the RF 18-45mm by the way.  I would stay away from that one.  Again, RP + 24-105mm stm will perform much better.

Although the RP isn't bad you should compare to Sony options.  I'm not sure what lenses you would need, but for the FE mount there are nice compact options as well.  There's an FE 28-60mm kitzoom, which isn't perfect, but certainly decent, and truly compact.

45 is more than enough, but 500.000 isn't
