Press the "Test" button on your XT-16 trigger. Did that trigger the flash?

If so, then there is probably a contact problem between the trigger and the hotshoe or there is something wrong with the camera hotshoe itself.

If not, then there is a communications problem between the trigger and the flashes. Make sure that they are all on the same channel and frequency.

Another possible issue is that the trigger frequency is 2.4GHz which is the same frequency as Wifi. This means that powerful Wifi routers and hotspots nearby could interfere with the signals sent out by the trigger. Use an app on your phone to determine the strength of nearby Wifi signals and change the frequency on your trigger to suit.
